Jeren Batchelder-Seibel joined the Commission in April 2019.  He currently serves as Interim Executive Officer. Prior to that, he served as a Deputy Executive Officer and a Policy Analyst. As Interim Executive Officer, Jeren is charged with analysis of local governmental services, including assessing availability, capacity, and performance relative to current and projected needs. This includes, but is not limited to, preparing studies required of Marin LAFCo under State law that culminate in making recommendations to the Commission on potential governmental reorganizations, boundary changes, and other related matters.  Before joining Marin LAFCo, Jeren was the General Manager of a small special district in Plumas County.  He also spent time working for the City of Mill Valley in the Arts and Recreation Department.
