Government Code §56378 authorizes LAFCo to initiate special studies to examine service delivery and governance alternatives. Pursuant to this authority, Marin LAFCo has prepared a Special Study on Fire and Emergency Services in Marin County.

This study will be discussed at the June 11, 2026, commission meeting. All comments should be sent to cdevereux@marinlafco.org no later than Monday, June 15, 2026, at 5 p.m.
