About the District
- Land Area: 25.3 square miles
- Population: 41,490 approximately
- Areas Served: The communities of Tamalpais Valley, the City of Mill Valley, Almonte, Homestead Valley, Alto, Strawberry, approximately 1/4 of the town of Tiburon, the City of Sausalito, Fort Baker, and the Marin Headlands
- Services: Provides fire suppression, rescue, prevention, Haz Mat, water rescue, Urban Search and Rescue (USAR), EMS/Paramedic and ambulance services
